Our 6-Step Matching Process

Step 1. Engage

There are approximately 4,000 franchise opportunities available – finding the right one for you may seem overwhelming. The benefit of working with experienced franchise consultants? We have the connections to get you information on some of the best franchise opportunities out there. You don’t have to do anything; we do the work for you to find the best business opportunity.

Step 2. Educate

Once we’ve had our initial free consultation phone call, we’ll begin contacting brands we feel fit your profile and goals. We’ll then present to you our findings and show you the best potential franchise matches for you. We typically walk you through two to four options. This is a great time to revisit your goals as you decide which option to further pursue. We’ll then set you up with the franchisors to have an introductory call.

Step 3. Connect

This is your opportunity to hear directly from the franchises we’ve sourced for you and learn about their business model, daily activities, getting started, and growing your new business. You’ll be able to ask questions and get answers directly from the source. It’s best to keep an open mind during these conversations. A franchise may not seem like the best fit right away, but often times prospects change their minds once they’ve met with the franchisor directly. Understand that while you are learning about the brand, the brand is also learning about you – and they ultimately have the final say in whether or not you become one of their franchisees.

Step 4. Evaluate

Franchising is being in business for yourself, but not by yourself. During this step, you’ll meet with current franchisees from the brands you’ve now talked to. You’ll want to ask a lot of questions so you can understand what it’s really like to own a franchise. We’ve got a list of starter questions for you if you’re not sure what to ask.

At this stage of the process, you’ll also receive the brand’s Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), it’s important to review all 23 items of this document carefully before signing. Step 5: Discover

The franchise discovery process concludes with Discovery Day. This is your opportunity to meet with the franchisor’s leadership and support team. You’ll get to see what the corporate office looks like, ask questions, and determine if you fit into the brand’s culture. Be sure to have fun on your Discovery Day – this is where you’ll really foster relationships with those who are ready and willing to help you, and your new business, succeed.

Step 6: Decide

Congratulations! You’ve been awarded a franchise. It’s natural to feel nervous about making the final decision but remember, you’ve been through the whole discovery process with one of our franchise consultants. You have gathered all the information you need to make a sound choice. We’re always here to help if you need to talk things through, but the decision is completely yours to make.
